​​Memo for Garden Creek Parents and Guardians

Good afternoon, Creeker Parents:

Happy Family Day Long Weekend!  I hope you enjoy the weekend with your families and make some great memories :)

THANK YOU!!!  A heartfelt thank you to all our families, including  our Home and School who were so generous to our staff with the goodies, donations and gift cards to our staff. They were treated royally and were very appreciative to all.  MERCI!!

Our bus driver, Trudy: To update you, Joy wanted me to pass along to you  that Trudy is feeling much better and has a great appetite. She would welcome visitors at any time at the hospital.  We are glad she is feeling better :)

New Staff : Mme. McLeod has begun an early maternity leave.  Mme. Hamilton will replace her in grade 5 F for the next one or two weeks and her permanent replacement will be Mme. Sarah Farquhar starting the week of Feb 25^th or March 11^th, pending another position she is finishing. We wish Mme. McLeod and her soon to be new arrival happiness and good health!

100^th Day – 100^th Day will be February 26^th.  Leading up to this, we will have a 100^th Day Food Challenge for the Fredericton food bank running this coming Tuesday until the 26^th. You will be receiving information in this regard, but please also see the attachment. Thank you for your support.

Tues Feb 26^th –  100^th Day! / PSSC meeting 6:30 pm

Fri Mar 1 –  Calithumpians presentation 9 – 10 AM / K Lunch / Fit Friday fun in the gym (afternoon)

March Break – Week of March 4 – 8

Tues Mar 12^th – Robin Paul in for First Nations Art presentations (am)/ Tavis Marr presenting on bees and their importance for grades 3 and 4 FI( afternoon)  

Thurs Mar 14 – Grades 4-5 to the playhouse to view Justin Flom ( 10:00 am)

Fri Mar 15^th – Yearbook pictures being taken / K Lunch

Tues Mar 19 – District STEAM Fair / Home and School Meeting 6:30 pm

Fri Mar 22 – no school – Professional collaboration and PL day for staff / Doodle sign up goes live at 11 for Achievement Report Conferences

Tues Mar 26 – PSSC meeting 6:30 pm

Thurs Mar 28^th – George Street School Drama Performance
