​Memo to Garden Creek Parents and Guardians

Good afternoon dear Creekers,

I’d like to take this opportunity to rave about our staff during this week of Staff Appreciation.  They work tirelessly to ensure that our students’ needs are met both academically and socially.  I am very lucky to work with all of them.

Thank you as well to all our parents who have already showered the teachers with treats in our staff room.  They are very much  appreciated.

On a sad note, I want to let you know that one of our bus drivers (Trudy-Bus 208) is gravely ill and is in palliative care.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Trudy and her family.  Joy, her sister, is one of our bus drivers as well.    

Other Notes:

Valentine Sock Hop – there will be a sock hop on Thursday, February 14th at first recess for all grades.  Funds will go towards Grade 4/5 who are going on an end of  year trip.  Cost is $1.  Please see attached poster.

Tues,.  Feb 19^th – Home and School Meeting 6:30 pm

Wed.,  Feb 20^th – 1ooth Day! Multiage activities for K-2s / 100^th day food challenge – more info to come

Fri.,  Feb 22^nd – Black History Month Presentation to grades 3-5 by the Multicultural Association / K Lunch 12:40-1:10
