Memo for Garden Creek Parents and Guardians
Good afternoon Creeker Community!
I trust you are enjoying all the snow?
It is a winter wonderland come early at the Creek!
Achievement Reports – Reports are being issued today. Please take the time
to review these with your children and complete the goal and comment sheet
together. We are attaching a couple of documents for you from our
District to help you understand these reports and ideas around how to discuss
these with your child We look forward to seeing you at conferences this
week. If you have not signed up for a time, please do so or call the office
to make arrangements. Remember, there is no school on Friday due
to conferences and professional learning on that day.
Snowy Weather! – We love seeing our students enjoy the snow, but they do
need snow pants, especially if they want to slide ( on their bottoms!)
on the hills.
Staffing – We would like to welcome Madame Nadine Martin to our
school. She will be teaching the grade 2 FI class. We also welcome Madame
Tricia McGraw to Grade 5 FI. She is replacing Mme. Leblanc who has
retired. We wish Mme. Leblanc great things ahead as she moves on from our
school and look forward to having Mme. Martin and Mme. McGraw in these
classrooms.
Creeker Clothing – Tomorrow, Tuesday, is our final day to accept
Creeker clothing orders. These can be done on Cashless Schools or if you have
no access to online, please send your payment and order form to the office.

Southside Schools UNB Hockey
Night – this Friday night, the Reds are
playing the Huskies at 7:00 pm! Come on out to cheer our team on! See
attachment re tickets.
Thought Exchange - The District Education Council for Anglophone West School
District (DEC) invites you to participate in a Thought Exchange. This is
an opportunity for stakeholders to share their thought regarding their
experience with Anglophone West School District (ASD-W). The information
will inform DEC priorities and goals. The question:

After School has recently opened a new program for children from Garden Creek
School and has 7 spaces available. The program is conveniently located
along Route 102 at the Saint Peter's Parish Hall, beside Hartt Island. Go
