Happy Thanksgiving, Creekers!!
Outside today at recess, as I was supervising our students playing and having fun, I couldn’t help but be very thankful that I am part of this community. Your children are absolutely wonderful. Thank you!
Notes to keep you in the know:
Kindergarten Registration Week - If your child will be turning 5 from today until the end of December 2019, please come in to register them for school during this coming week. Welcome to our newest little Creekers!!
A New STU Intern - This week, we welcome Grace Cameron in Grade 4 Doyle . She will be observing this week and begin her placement at our school soon after for a 6 week period.
Cross Country Finals this week! This Wednesday is the Cross Country Finals at Nassis Middle School . Good luck to our Creekers who are participating. We are proud of all of you!
Bottle Drive – Thank you for your support last Saturday! We raised $1000.00 for Sydney’s Team for Walk the Night!
Safe Schools Week – next week is Safe Schools Week throughout the District. We will be participating in a variety of safety drills, such as fire drills, a lock down, and an evacuation to the Prospect Inn. Please see the attachment.

Tues. Oct 9 – Kindergarten 2018 Registration Week / Hot lunch / writing club for grades 3-5 English at lunch/ Grade 2 Elf program begins for specific students/ 3-5 Art after school
Wed Oct 10th –Grade 1 FI to Everett’s U-Pick ( 8:40 – 10:15) District Cross Country – Nassis Middle School
Thurs Oct 11 – Hot lunch
Sat Oct 13th – Light the Night – Sidney’s Walk – come down to Queen Square and the train bridge area to support Sydney and the walk if you wish. More details to come later in the week. Also, you can donate on line
