Memo to Garden Creek Parents and Guardians​

 

Good afternoon Creeker Families! 

 
THANK YOU Creekers for all of the donations that have been arriving for our library improvement project!! We are so thankful for your generous assistance with these plans and a big thank you also to the committee for their commitment and efforts towards getting this first phase done for the Fall. An update is attached here. Make sure that if you send us a donation you include what you want the plaque to read to honour your donation and if you want a tax receipt, the name and address of the person the receipt can be sent to.
 
We would like to say a big congratulations to our Physical Education teacher Mme Plourde and Home and School for their efforts to secure a grant to install soccer nets on our field! We hope very much we will be able to get them in as soon as possible.
 
Please note we have just received notice that the dismissal on the last day of school will be a half day early dismissal. Transportation has not yet given us the official specific dismissal/bus run times but as soon as we know we will pass that information on to you. 
 
Last  important item-the picnic money is due on Wednesday June 13 if you want to order pizza through the school. No late orders will be accepted for this, please make sure your orders get handed in on time.

June 12- Last day of pizza hot lunch
June 13-School Picnic money due-NO LATE ORDERS ACCEPTED
June 14- NO hot lunch provided-Chartwell's is closed, please send a lunch with your child these last two Thursdays
June 15- Drama production "Aladdin" 6pm (school dress rehearsal 10:30)
June 19- Family Picnic Day 12-1pm
June 20- Grade 5 celebration-10:45
June 21- Grade 5 Greenhill Lake Field Trip for all Grade 5 students; K celebration; NO hot lunch
June 22- Last Day of School NEW*half day early dismissal/Achievement Report #3 issued
