Memo for Garden Creek Parents and Guardians
Good afternoon Creeker Families!
At this time of year, I want to remind you all that you need to check each morning to make sure there are no school delays or closures, bus delays or cancellations. This can be done via the school or district website, http://web1.nbed.nb.ca/sites/asd-w/Pages/default.aspx,twitter, listening to a local radio station, or phoning the hotline at 453-5454 or 1-888-388-4455.
A message from Mr. Slack's grade 5 class: Our class is working on The Energy Diet and learning about looking after our environment. One of our challenges requires us to get 150 to sign an energy reduction pledge.. Would you please take a minute and help us out by "signing" our pledge? Mon. Feb. 26th- Pancake lunch day provided by Home and School (thank you to this committee for the work they do!); Let's Talk Science for grade 1 and 2 students in group 1; Crazy hat/pajama day; Purple Pinkies donation assembly (we raised over $300-thank you!!)
Tues. Feb. 27th - Jersey Day; 1/2 day 11am dismissal; PSSC meeting 6:30pm
Weds. Feb. 28th -Fluoride mouth rinse; Outdoor activities day (dress for conditions); Pink shirt day
Thurs. March 1st -Chartwell's hot lunch; Harvey's Photo day RESCHEDULED to March 20; formal dress-up day; Mystery reader with milk and cookies
Fri. March 2nd -Creeker colours/clothing day; Buddy bingo day; fit Friday class

March 19- Let's talk science group 2, first rotation (grade 1 and 2s who previously signed up)
March 20 -Harvey's Photo Day for teams and clubs-rescheduled day
March 22-Selected classes attending George Street "Guys and Dolls Junior" production
March 26- Let's talk science group 2, second rotation (grade 1 and 2s who previously signed up)
March 27- Doodle Poll released for Achievement Report #2 Parent-teacher interviews
