Memo to Garden Creek Families

Friday September 30.docFriday September 30.doc

Happy Friday, Creeker Families,

One month down already - can you believe it?!

This week was a busy one with visitors to our school ( a professor from Spain studying inclusionary practices and UNB nurses getting ready for some presentations in our school). There were also visits by the Ks to an apple orchard :) We had our first library week ( welcome Mrs. Doucette) as well as English as a Second Language tutoring starting with Mrs. Savoie.

I asked students throughout the week  on our monitor and over the announcements " what are you learning about? (  in Math.. in Reading.. in Writing..  and in Phys Ed.)  It is important that students understand what learning targets they are working toward so that they make connections and be engaged in that learning.

My final question was " what will you learn or practice over the weekend?" - as learning can take place outside of these school walls as well :)

Please read the memo to find out about how well we did on the bottle drive and future dates.

Thank you,

Katherine
