Today I checked homework, talked to students generally about their grades for this quarter, and led a discussion about TV series and how to read/critique them.

Next, students received a handout about the March Portfolio Piece (please see it attached in the documents section). I went through the information in detail, showed some examples of the various options, and answered any questions students had. Most students spent the remainder of class planning, while others began to write.

Tomorrow will be a full writing period for students to work on this piece. I will also be conducting conference meetings with students throughout class tomorrow to answer specific questions and/or give feedback.​
