Persuasive Essays

We have been working on ideas for persuasive essays for the past two weeks. Next week​, students will begin to write their own essays.  I am really focussing on the process of writing for this assignment.  They must have:

a handwritten brainstorm of ideas

a completed graphic organizer (I gave them one already)

a hand writtern rough draft (to be passed in before March Break)

(Some students may want to do a typed rough draft as well so that I am able to read it.)

 

Also, students should be done reading their novels by the end of March Break. They will be given class time to work on their book talks after the break.
