​Periods 1 & 3

Today students worked on completing their conclusions and self-editing of the persuasive essay. Some students even began to peer edit.

All students should come to school tomorrow with a completed draft or good copy of their essay. We will be working on grading look-fors and rationalization of grades.

Students will also need 6 different colors of highlighter.

Periods 2 & 4

Students watched the first half of the movie The Giver. They will be using the movie to write a compare/contrast piece between the film and book versions of this story. We will work on this on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.
