​Wow.... November has flown by!  All students have completed reading one novel of their choice and completed their booktalk (a couple students were sick and will complete booktalks this week.) Journals #4 and 5 should be done: #4 was about TOKTWD, #5 was about the production of grease.

We completed a unit on Edgar Allan Poe - the final projects were well done!! I received videos, news articles, mobiles, games, and many more creative projects. Some students will be acting out scenes at the end of this week.

Students are now reading another novel - I gave them a choice of 6 different novels.  This should be read by the holidays as we will be working with the novels when we return in the new year. All students should be reading for at least 15 minutes every night!!

The next unit begins on Wednesday - we will be focusing on perspective and point-of-view.
