Grade 10

• Students were given a handout today for their multi-genre assignment. This will be incorporated as a part of their year-end portfolio, so it is not due anytime soon. We will be working on it throughout this week, beginning with a trip to the computer lab tomorrow to do some research.
• by tomorrow's class, students should have their topic selected.

Grade 9

• level 2 book group questions were collected
• students completed some independent reading
• students worked in book groups
• by Thursday, all groups are expected to hand in: level 3 questions, word study, choice activity one, choice activity 2, and be prepared for a presentation
• by tomorrow's class, students should come prepared with good copies of everything so that all group members can offer final input before the project is due.
