Grade 10

• Today we wrote our unit test for To Kill a Mockingbird
• anybody who missed the test will write it on Monday during class time

Grade 9

• Today we completed a full review of The Giver in preparation for Monday's test
• attached to my documents is a chapter-by-chapter review of the novel
• students should also remember to think about the following: themes (lessons learned) in the novel,​ symbols in the novel (especially the sled), thoughts on the ending of the novel, characters and how to describe them, and an overall review of the book (based on plot, character development, content, writing style, etc.)
• students were also reminded that all persuasive essays which were not passed in today are due on Monday.
