Students Participate in New Brunswick Competitive Music Festival

Lakewood Heights School has had a busy week participating in The New Brunswick Competitive Festival of Music In. on April 27th and 29th in the a.m..Every class in the school participated in the festival and had a wonderful learning experience. All grades and choirs sang extremely well from Kindergarten to grade 5. Lakewood Heights is proud to announce that the grade 2's received the David Thomson Memorial Trophy and James Venner Russell Memorial Award with a cash award of $300. The grade 3s are proud to announce that they won the Simonds Trophy and James Venner Russell Memorial Award also with a cash award of $300. All classes performed extremely well and represented Lakewood Heights and  ASDS with pride.

 
The band students of Bayside Middle, Milledgville North and Princess Elizabeth Schools  had a busy afternoon on April 24, performing in The New Brunswick Competitive Festival of Music Inc. Over 75 woodwind, brass and percussion players had the opportunity to combine their talents to represent ASDS with pride and honor. The beginner band received the James Venner Russell Memorial Award with a cash award of $150. This talented group will be presenting an evening concert on May 22, 7pm at Princess Elizabeth School.
