The 10 minute morning break and 5 minute afternoon break are there for you to gather books, use the washroom, have a snack, etc. You should be staying in your own hallway, close to your locker or close the class you have following the break. You should not be in a hallway of a different grade level.

And, at 12:10, please leave the hallways quickly. Before the bell rings, decide where you will be going and go directly there. It should not take students 10 minutes to get to a destination. If you plan to be in a classroom, be sure to check with the teacher before going. All students must be supervised by an adult at lunch.

Sports:

Congratulations to the JV Boys’ Basketball team on another win over Sussex Middle School.

Good luck to the JV Girls’ Basketball team as they host Sussex today at 4pm. Reminder to the JV girls basketball team that you will practice tomorrow from 5-6:30 – following the Varsity girls basketball game.

The Varsity Boys’ Basketball team will practice from 6-7:30pm.

“GSA February Fiesta” is on Saturday, February 4th at Rothesay High School. If you would like to know more, stop by The Wellness Centre, or ask to see Mr. Stu to talk. Permission slips are due on Monday Jan 30th.

Chess Club is Thursday after school in Mr. Crowther's room from 3:00 until 4:30. All are welcome.

Pie in the Face!!! Tickets are on sale until Thursday on an opportunity to pie a teacher in the face. Tickets will be sold at lunch, in the main lobby. The event will be this Friday, during the 2nd half of lunch in the gym with free entry. Some staff who have volunteered: Mme Dow, Mr. Melanson, Mrs. Rourke, Mrs. Foley, Mme Page, Mme Cusack, Mme McLean, Mrs. Rattray, Mrs. Spinks and Mr. Nelson. All proceeds will be donated to the Kids Help Phone.
