The Varsity Boys’ basketball team defeated Harry Miller yesterday and the team will practice from 3-4:30pm today.

Congratulations to the JV Boys’ basketball team on defeating Hampton Middle.

There is Band today after school for the Friday group or any other band students who would like to attend.

It is happy Birthday Smoothie Friday! All cougars (staff and students) who have birthdays in the month of January, please come after announcements for a delicious fruit smoothie. They are waiting for you in the Wellness Centre immediately after announcements and must be picked up before 9:00. Come and get ‘em!

Attention QMS Thespians!
If you're interested in auditioning for the QMS Drama club, there will be a quick meeting today at 11:50 in room 111 (Mrs. Roberts' room). Bring your lunch and see you there!

Other:

Pie in the Face!!! Tickets are on sale today and continue through next week for an opportunity to pie a teacher in the face. Tickets will be sold at lunch, in the lobby in front of the office, for $1 each or 5 tickets for $3. The event will be Friday, January 27^th during the 2^nd half of lunch in the gym with free entry. Some staff who have volunteered: Mr. Melanson, Mrs. Rourke, Mrs. Foley, Mme Page, Mme Cusack, Mme McLean, Mrs. Rattray, Mrs. Spinks and Mr. Nelson. All proceeds will be donated to the Kids Help Phone.​
