​QMS will be having a virtual talent show the last week of school!  You can either submit a video or perform live and it will be broadcast via teams.  If you are interested in performing - all levels of singing, piano, dance, juggling, bird calls, magic, jokes, you name it:  Please go to the music room at some point during lunch to sign up with Mrs. Rattray.  Final day to sign up, come along, don’t be shy! 

Year-End Awards: The time has come again for the staff of QMS to consider all of the wonderful work that our Cougars have done this year. Applications for student awards will soon be placed on your class Teams sites, and teachers will be speaking to you about the awards ceremony (to be held virtually on 24 June). Consideration for this year's awards will be largely based on the PRIDE matrix and students will be asked to describe how you supported each of the 5 domains of the matrix this year.  

Our 'Cougar' Awards recognize school spirit and effort; the Principal's Awards recognize student achievement; and the James G. Macdonald award recognizes academic and community excellence.

 - Grade 6: Cougar Cub Award; and Principal's Award

 - Grade 8: Senior Cougar; and Principal's Award

 - All Grades:  James G. MacDonald Memorial Award
