​ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SEPTEMBER 9th

GUIDANCE:

As of today, all course requests that can be completed, have been finalized.  Teacher initiated changes can still take place.  WE will do another round of course requests in January to prepare for second semester.

CLUBS:

All Me to We members interested in travelling to We Day must come to room 005 at the beginning of lunch today.

Could all members of Renaissance please meet today, Monday, September 9^th at 12:30 in Mrs. Wright’s room, Room 136.  New members are welcome.

Attention New Reach for the Top Players.  There will be a practice for all new Reach players today at lunch in room 228.

SPORTS:

Tomorrow at 12:30 there will be a meeting for students interested in joining the Cross Country Running Team.  All ages and skill levels are welcome.  Cross Country is a great way to stay active and participate in a school team.  The meeting will be in Room 414 at 12:30 tomorrow.  Speak with Mr. O’Brien for details.

KVHS Badminton Club is starting tonight – Our gym at 8:00.

Boy’s Hockey try outs – There will be a meeting Thursday at 12:40 in the Science Lecture Theatre, room 264.

MUSIC:

Auditions for students interested in performing at the Concert in the Courtyard on September 25^th will be taking place in the Music Room on Tuesday, September 10^th and Wednesday, September 11^th.  Please sign up on the Arts bulletin board.

CHOIR:

Attention all students interested in joining the School Choir, Blue Tones, this year:  There is a meeting today after school in the Rehearsal Room from 3:45 – 4:30 for students in any grade who have not been in the choir before.  If you like to sing, would like to sing better, or need some practice for musical, come to today’s meeting.

FALL PLAY:

Attention actors:  Auditions for the Fall play will be held on Tuesday after school in Room 122.  This year’s play is “Night Watch” – a murder mystery about a woman who thinks she sees murder victims next door.  Sign up for an auditions on the Performing Arts Bulletin Board outside Room 115
