KVHS Morning Announcements

GENERAL INFO

·       Attention all Crusaders! Casino Night will be Thursday, May 16th at 6:30pml. It’s a semi-formal event that you won’t want to miss! Tickets will be $5 at the door.

 

·       Kiss a Grad Goodbye will be sold every day this week at lunch, in the lobby for 50 cents each. Send a message of congratulations and best wishes to your favorite grads. They will be delivered on the last week of classes.

 

·       The last KD day for this school year is Wednesday, May 22.

 

·       Attention all Crusaders! If you loved Hello Dolly!, you won’t want to miss Night of the Arts on Wednesday, May 15. There will be awesome live music and our two small plays that we featured at DramaFest. You don’t want to miss it!

 

·       Attention all Crusaders! There will be auditions for those who wish to perform at concert in the park. The auditions will take place next Tuesday and Wednesday after school in the music room. Please sign up to audition on the arts board downstairs. Please note that you must audition with the song you intend on playing at the concert. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Palmer before the end of the week.

 

·       Looking for information about scholarships, bursaries, post-secondary visits and other career information? Visit the guidance centre and check back often for updates!

·       There is an opportunity to attend yearbook camp this summer! For more information, come to the yearbook room today at lunch.

 

·       Attention Blue Tones Members: Today’s rehearsal after school is for all members. Meet in the rehearsal room at 3:45pm.

 

·       Could all members of Renaissance please meet tomorrow, Thursday, May 16 at 12:30 in Mrs. Wright’s room, room 136. New members are always welcome!

 

ACADEMICS

·       Could all students from the Semester 1 Dance class please meet in Mrs. Wright’s room, room 136 at 12:30 on Wednesday, May 15.

Athletics

·       Attention Track team – especially Saint John track members: If you have not spoken to Mrs. Mawer about your events, see her tonight at UNB. If you don’t you won’t be in the system - or able to compete.

 

·       Mr. Morton’s yoga 110 is in Lab 406 today and grade 9 physical education is in the fitness center, but students do not need to change for the class.

 

·       The work room will be closed on Friday, May 17.

 

·       Good Luck to the girls rugby team as they face off against Rothesay High at 5:30 today. Don’t forget to be at Arthur Miller’s top field for warm up at 4:15 girls.
