KVHS Morning Announcements

November 30, 2018

Happy Denim Day everyone! A reminder that Fashion Design 120 will be selling KV patches at lunch and there will be a fashion display too!!

CAFETERIA

· Sweet and sour meatballs with rice and veggies

· Mac and cheese

GUIDANCE

· The University of New Brunswick will be here on Monday, December 3rd for on the spot admissions. Students must apply and pay online before attending. Please sign up in the Guidance Centre for an appointment time. 12/3

· Any Students interested in attending Queen’s University to study Commerce should check out the D & R Sobey Atlantic Admission Award posted in the Guidance Centre.

· The New Brunswick Teen Apprentice Program is now accepting applications for the 2019 Summer Work Term. Qualifying students in Grade 10 or 11 will be reached and mentored on the job over two or three paid summer work terms. NB TAP student apprentices will learn practical trade and workplace skills and get a head start on an exciting career in the skilled trades. If you are interested in this exciting opportunity please see Mrs. Levesque in Guidance.

EVENTS

· In support of Safe Grad 2019 – Jaryd Stanley in concert Thursday, December 6 at 7pm in the KVHS theatre. Tickets are $20 and are available in the KVHS office and at Guardian Drugs. Please call 651-6446 for reserved seating.

· The Renaissance 10^th annual used book sale will take place in the KVHS cafeteria on today from 6-9pm and tomorrow from 10am-4pm in the KVHS cafeteria. If you have any used books or magazines to donate please bring them to Mrs. Wright’s room, room 136.

· Tickets for our Christmas Cab are now on sale for $10 from Mrs. Hawkes in the library. Cab is on December 13 from 7-10pm. This is a semi-formal dance. Make sure you have your student ID when buying your ticket. There will not be any sign ins from other schools.

GRADS

· Attention all grads! This is a reminder that your grad photos are due December 21^st. If you have questions about how to submit them or you haven’t received a form to do so, contact the yearbook team!

CLUBS – TEAMS

· Ski team forms are due today. Please see Mrs. Case if you need extra time. Hand in completed forms to the office.

· There will be a meeting for all Me to We members today at lunch in Mrs. Pynn’s room, room 307. This is a very important meeting and all members must attend.

ATHLETICS

· There will be a girls indoor touch rugby and fitness on Sunday in the KVHS gym from 12-1pm. All girls in grade 9-12 are welcome!
