GUIDANCE:

The University of New Brunswick will be here on Monday, December 3rd for on the spot admissions.  Students must apply and pay online before attending.  Please sign up in the Guidance Centre for an appointment time. 3/11

 

The TD Scholarship for Community Leadership has arrived in the Guidance Office.  Applications are available for pick up.  They are due November 16th. 16/11

 

Any Students interested in attending Queen’s University to study Commerce should check out the D & R Sobey Atlantic Admission Award posted in the Guidance Centre. 2/11

 

Mount Allison University will be here on Monday, November 19th to have individual meetings with interested students:  Please sign up in Guidance for an appointment time.  If you meet with them, the recruiters will give you an online code that will waive the admission fee. 19/11

 

EVENTS:

Attention all Advisory Classes!  If you brought in nonperishable food items for We Scare Hunger, bring those items to Mrs. Pynn’s room right now.  Make sure to identify which items came from your Advisory.

 

Spook Trail Update!  More than 1500 people came this Tuesday.  Amazing success!  We raised over $4000.00.  Thank you all for your support!  More details to follow soon.

 

Crusaders:  Are you still not sure what to do this weekend?  This Saturday, starting at 11 am come to the Diamond Jubilee Cruise ship terminal to see performers from all around the world!  There is no charge to attend this event, plus you will get:  Free Henna, free entertainment, and free film presentations (day long!) A free public celebration for all ages!  Everyone is welcome.  Enjoy a traditional Tai Chi demonstration, get a free henna design, taste some delicious food samples and listen to performers from all around the world.  Come celebrate our Cultural Diversity this Saturday and Sunday starting on Saturday at 11 am and finishing on Sunday at 5 pm. At the Diamond Jubilee building (where the cruise ships come in) uptown!

 

YEARBOOK:

Attention all Grads!  Your baby photos for the yearbook are due TODAY, November 2, 2018.  Email them to us at KVHSyearbookstaff@gmail.com.  Place them in the folder outside the Yearbook room in the Math Wing or give them to any of the senior editors.

 

 

CLUBS – TEAMS

Improv money is due today, please bring your Improv Money to Ms. Nicholson in the Art Room.  Thank you!

 

There will be a meeting for all Me to We members today at the beginning of lunch in Mrs. Pynn’s room, room 307.  New members are always welcome!

 

The Classic Gaming Club will meet Fridays at lunch.  Bring your favourite game and console for some button-mashing fun!  New members are always welcome to attend or spectate.

 

There will be a brief but very important meeting for all students who will be speaking in the Remembrance Day ceremony next Tuesday, November 6th at lunch in Mrs. Lanigan’s room.

 

There will be a meeting in front of the Theatre during Advisory next Tuesday, November 6th for all cadets participating in the Remembrance Day Ceremony.

 

MUSIC - DRAMA – THEATRE – ART

KVHS Concert Band is selling Saint John Sea Dog flex tickets as a fund raiser.  If you would like to buy Sea Dog tickets for any home game, please see Ms. Palmer or any band student.

 

Attention Blue Tones members:  There will be a rehearsal for Baritones today at 12:30 in the Rehearsal Room.  Bring your lunch.

 

SPORTS

All field hockey jerseys are to be returned to Mr. Doiron during or before Advisory in room 291.  Senior team return uniforms to Mr. Morton​
