Information Items:

- Thank you to all parents who were able to assist with our career expo yesterday. It was a great event and students were exposed to a wide variety of careers.

 

- Our first Scholastic bookfair of the year will take place on Nov. 23rd-24th for class visits and on Thursday evening, Nov. 24th and Friday morning, Nov. 25th during Parent Teacher Meetings. We are looking for volunteers to assist with the bookfair. The required block of times are:

8:15-10:15

10:45-12:15

1:00-2:30

4:00-7:00 (Thursday evening during Parent Teacher)

9:00-11:00 (Friday morning during Parent Teacher)

If you are able to assist, please email me at Bonnie.Hierlihy@nbed.nb.ca indicating when you are available.

 

-Student Led Club leadership applications are due on Monday for students in grades 3-5.  This includes the Leader In Training applications.

 

 

-Our next P.S.S.C. meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 17th at 7pm. We would love to expand our membership so please email me at Bonnie.Hierlihy@nbed.nb.ca to get involved.  The PSSC assists the Principal in an advisory role. The committee addresses the broad issues related to the education of all students in the school, with the goal of enhancing student learning.

 

- Jane Perkins Love, a Neufeld Institute facilitator and former FES guidance counsellor, is offering a four week course on Making Sense of Discipline. Please check the attachment for more information.
