To promote some open-minded thinking I'd like to see you work on this interview project with you and eight of your family members. How students can install Office 365 on up to five devices.   1. ​In your browser (Chrome, IE, Firefox, Safari) go to office.com 

2. Sign in using your school credentials: <joesmi12345@nbss.nbed.nb.ca> and your password.
3. 
Once signed in, you should see your initials or your picture in the top right corner 
4. Click the initials or picture and then click on "My Account"
5. Under My Account, you can click "Install Office."  This will allow you to install Microsoft Office on up to five devices - such as a phone, a tablet, a laptop, and/or a computer. (Thanks, Mrs. Babineau)

French Speech Contest: ​ ​​The Canadian Parents for French​ organization is offering an online province-wide speech competition open to French second language students in grades 6-12.  This includes both Post-Intensive and French Immersion students. Generous cash prizes and plaques are up for grabs, while all participants will receive a certificate of participation. Contestants must submit a video performance of their speech. The deadline for entries will be May 2nd, 2020.  Winners will be announced by the end of May 2020. For more information please go to their website.

The Panther is Mr. Clancy’s 9th annual historical detective adventure. This special edition is written in English so that all SMS Social Studies students can join in the fun and earn the famous “Secret Agent of the Year Trophy.” Shockingly, the Panther is a mysterious international art and jewel thief who works at SMS! Your junior historian will have so much fun solving the mystery they’ll never know they are advancing Social Studies curriculum outcomes for grades 6, 7, and 8. Yes, how diabolical! Indeed, students will strut their literary skills while they learn about history, art, and historical analysis, all the while weighing evidence and de-constructing the mystery before the Panther completes the heist of the century. The mystery can be found on your Microsoft Teams social studies site, or click here for this week’s chapter.

Math​ (English and Immersion) ​This week we will continue to review concepts you've already seen. There are a couple of ways you can submit your work for feedback. Check in Teams for an assignment in which you can fill in your answers. You can take a picture/scan your work and email it to your teacher. Please do your best to complete the practice work sheets and if you have questions email your teacher or try asking in Teams. We are looking for more interaction in Teams so check in in your classes.
