Join the staff of Seaside Park Elementary for a Community Meet & Greet on Wednesday, June 7 at Seaside Park.  Events take place from 5:30-7:30 with introductions to the staff and refreshments and fun for the entire family. ​

Join us for our Family Math/Literacy Night at our Beaconsfield site gym from 5:00-7:30 pm on Tuesday, May 30th.  Bring the entire family for fun snacks, prizes and games, along with a special guest reader.  Theme is Canada 150 so wear your red and white!!

Composting Focus Group - receive a $50 VISA gift card

​The Saint John Human Development Council is interested in your thoughts on composting .  They are collecting information on residents living in the city's Lower West Side who DO compost.   This is for a study they are doing for the Fundy Region Services Commission.

They require 8 individuals who live in the Lower West Side to attend a focus group on Tuesday, February 21 at 12:30 pm at the Westside PACT office at 200 Ludlow Street.  You will receive a $50 Visa gift card for participating.  Pre-registration is required and you must call Natalia Hicks at 608-7692 to register.

Our PALS at Hillcrest Church are unable to provide us with soup this Wednesday, January 25.  Please make sure to send a lunch with your child on Wednesday.  Thank you.

Tuesday, January 17 we will hold our monthly PSSC (Parent School Support Committee) meeting at 6:00 pm in the Community Room at our Beaconsfield site.  All are welcome to attend.  Please use the main St. Patrick's door at the side of the Beaconsfield School building.

Scholastic Book Fair Nov. 24

A reminder to families that students will visit the Scholastic Book Fair with their classes on November 23 and 24.  The fair will be open to parents from 3:30-6:00 pm on Thursday, Nov. 24 during parent teacher.  The fair will be held in the Community Schools room at our Beaconsfield site.  Cash or credit card will be accepted but debit purchases can not be made.​

Meeting Tonight at 6pm Havelock gym re nutrition at the new school

The West Side will soon have a brand new elementary school.  We would like your ideas to help us make it a healthy eating school. 
 
Do you have ideas about how we can promote healthy eating at the school?  Should locally prepared healthy meals be available for lunch?  Would it be helpful for children to learn cooking skills and how to grow a vegetable garden?
 
Please join us for a community discussion at Havelock School on Wednesday, November 2nd at 6pm.  All interested members of the community are welcome!

The first PSSC (Parent School Support Committee) meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 12 at 6pm in the Community Room at our Beaconsfield site.  All are welcome and entrance is through our dedicated St. Pat's entrance on the Carleton Martello Tower side of the building.​
