MT. A Dual Credit Opportunity: Advanced Environmental Science 120

SCIE 1991 has been developed as a virtual course for those students interested in pursuing a sciencerelated field that includes the ecological systems of our environment and natural world. In this course, students are expected to engage in their own respective environments to achieve a true “sense of place”. By identifying concerns and issues unique to their communities and by developing a personal sense of how one’s culture is strongly shaped by the surrounding environment, it is hoped that learners will obtain a deeper knowledge through inquiry, research, diverse worldviews, and connecting with community members. Those enrolling as high school students will have the opportunity to challenge for dual credit with 3 credit-hours post-secondary plus 1 credit secondary (AdvEsc120).
