Dear Parent and Guardians,

Happy December! Hard to believe the first 3 months of school are over. This is a busy month; there will be a lot of fun activities and learning. I will be sure to keep everyone updated on upcoming events.

Reminders:

Book Order: December book orders are due back this Friday (December 7th). I want to get them in early so they will arrive before Christmas break. You can submit orders to me or online through our classroom.

Show what you know binder: Students will be gathering things for their show what you know binders and they will be sent home this week. Please look through it with your child, sign it and send it back.

Christmas Angel Tree- Starting on December 5th we will have our Christmas angel tree up in our front entrance. Please stop by and take an angel or two to support our families this Christmas. When you select an angel please stop by the office and let Roxy know your angel number, so we can keep track who is responsible for what gifts. You may also call in and ask Roxy to select an angel for you to send home with your child if you can't stop by. When you return the gift we ask that it come back wrapped with the angel tree tag attached to the gift.

DOTS for Kids Day- Ring a Bell Campaign- On December 7th we will participate in the ring a bell campaign to raise awareness and increase education to inspire youth, family, and communities to take positive actions in support of children's mental health. If your child has a little bell that they would like to bring on Friday to join in and ring, please send it along.

Christmas Concert- We will be hosting our Christmas concert on Wednesday, December 12th at 10:00am. Doors will open at 9:30am.

Tots and Taters Credit- Due to our past two snow days and missing lunch orders, those that had ordered will be credited in January. Moving forward from here on out, we will track missed snow day orders and apply all credit in May.

MAS Christmas Caroling- On Tuesday December 18th we are inviting students and parents back to the school to spread some Christmas cheer around the neighborhood.
