​Good morning and happy Sunday! I hope you all enjoyed the holidays with family and friends. We are happy to get back into routine and to see the students tomorrow!

One of our goals as we get back into the swing of things here at MAS is to partner with the students and staff at Nashwaaksis Memorial School to ease into our move to NMS next fall. I was Vice-Principal there last year, my children attend that school, and I still have a wonderful relationship with Jason Burns, the Principal at Memorial as well as the staff. It is a fantastic school and Jason and I are working closely to make the transition as smooth as possible. If you ever have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Reminders for this week:

 -It is not too late to hand in the form if your child would like Chinese food on January 23 to celebrate Chinese New Year. If you have misplaced the form, please just email Roxy or I and we will add your child to the list. I'd ask that you let us know by Wednesday, Jan. 11.

-If you or someone you know would like to speak to our students about Chinese culture this month, please reach out to me.

-Other than that, it is a fairly 'normal' week as we settle back into our daily routines. Please refer to the January calendar for upcoming activities this month.
