Hello MAS Families. Hard to believe we are in our last week
of January already. It has been another wonderful week at MAS. Although we
moved into ‘Red alert level’ and some cold weather the students have seen very
little changes to their day and continue to engage in learning and fun.
Summer fun beach day was lots of fun and many seemed to
really enjoy their smoothie!
‘Red Alert Level’- What does this mean for changes for
students at MAS? The only changes students have seen is that they must be at
least two meters apart and silently working alone or eating in class to remove
their mask and they must wear a mask now while in phys ed. Other than that we
continue to follow our operational plan with sanitizing hands frequently,
sanitize coming in and out of classroom, and staying with our classroom
friends.
As staff we are actively screened upon entering the school.
We now eat in classroom or space alone and continue to sanitize classroom
materials frequently.
Just a reminder to all that if your child has ONE symptom
that they must stay home and it is suggested to call 811 for further guidance.
