Hello MAS Families! We have had a great week at MAS. I want
to thank parent volunteers that virtually shared their career with classrooms.
It is a great learning experience for all.
Important information Items-
Remembrance Day Ceremony- Normally during this
ceremony we would invite parents to join, but due to COVID-19 and operational
plans this year we are unable to. I will share that students will participate
in a ceremony here at school. We will be meeting outside socially distanced,
share class poems that have learned, participate in a moment of silence, and
lay wreaths at the base of our flag poles.
No School- November 11. Remembrance Day
Home and School Fundraiser- Sarah’s Soaps. On
November 10th students will be bringing home order forms for our soap
fundraiser. This is supporting a local company and giving you some great
Christmas gifts for family and friends. Bars of soap are $6 per bar or 3 for
$15. We look forward to your support. All funds raised from this fundraiser
will go towards supporting student learning.
Breakfast Program- Although this year we are unbale
to host our Tuesday morning breakfast each day, classrooms have snacks for
students that may be hungry. Please encourage your child to ask their teacher
or please reach out to the teacher if your child may need a little extra
something to get their morning going.
