Week at a Glance March 9-13

Hello MAS Families!  We had a fun Bunch of Munsch week. It was unfortunate our O’Dell park day was cancelled, but Friday we made some planning changes and did outdoor winter fun events- snow shoeing, sliding, snow painting, hot chocolates, etc.

Reminder that next week is March Break and there is no school for students.

Skating- After March break we will be going skating on March 17th  at Willie O’Ree. If you have not sent back your form, please do so as soon as possible.

Grade 5 Swimming- Starting on March 13th the grade 5 class will be participating in the district swimming program at Nasis indoor pool. Please be sure your child comes to school prepared for the sessions. They will travel by bus to Nasis Middle School. Bathing suites, towels, and plastic bag for wet clothing after. Be sure if your child comes to school already in their bathing suite that they bring everything needed to change into after.

K-2 Research Project- I am looking for a group of 5-6 parents with a child(ren) in grades k-2 level that would be interested in a focus group talk session around our extended day. Our researcher Greg Patterson will be here on Tuesday, March 10th. The focus group will meet at 6pm. Please email if you are interested in joining. I know last year parents found it very informative and enjoyable.
