Hello MAS
families! It was a short, but exciting week at MAS. The VReds hockey players
came to visit with coach Mac. Always an exciting and motivating assembly when
they come! Hopefully families will join us tonight at the UNB hockey game to
cheer them on.
I would
also like to “Thank” our PSSC and the PSSC of Nasis Memorial for hosting the
parent event last evening- It’s OK to be Awesome. They offered some great
strategies on how to help your child navigate emotions, empower them, etc. It
was great!
It looks
like the snow is here to stay and with that please be sure your child is coming
to school prepared to be outside in the weather. There are still many coming
without snow pants, hats, etc. I also recommend this time of year to pack
extra socks and mitts as they tend to get wet.
A few
reminders-
Wellness
Survey- On Monday,
November 18th students will be bringing home a wellness survey from

student wellness activities. Our grades 4 and 5 students will also be
completing a survey here at school.

community, and a few local groups we were able to give a little extra help to 5
families. If you would like some help this Christmas (groceries, gifts,
clothing, etc.) PLEASE get in touch with Roxy roxanne.yerxa@nbed.nb.ca or
