Week at a Glance May 20-24

Hello MAS Families!! Another exciting week here at MAS.  On Wednesday students enjoyed dancing and singing along with Art Richard at Royal Road to songs in French and in English. Later that evening we had many families come back to our Family Math Night. I want to thank those that were able to attend and hopefully you found the night and resources very informative and helpful for math learning at home.  Also Wednesday night, our Grade 4/5 class and Choir were awarded the "Best Non-Competitive Entry" at music festival this year. We received a nice plaque to display in the school. Congratulations!

Thursday we started our student chosen Creative Clusters. Students are already excited to showcase in June what they will be learning about during this enrichment time.

Grade 4 Provincial Assessments-  Starting May 21 to May 31 our grade 4 students will be involved provincial assessments in Literacy, Numeracy, and Science. It is important that your child attend school during this time to complete the assessment.  The assessments help guide our instructional practices and curriculum.

Bike Rodeo- We will be hosting another bike rodeo for our students on Wednesday, May 22 at 1:30pm.
