Each year, the Saint Mary's University Writing Centre offers graduating high school students an opportunity to experience university life, as well as an introduction to post-secondary academic skills. Over a period of two days, the Summer Writing Workshop familiarizes students with university-level writing and critical thinking, building on skills acquired in high school. The workshop is August 14th and 15th, 2018.
The two-day event, including meals and all mateirals, is priced at $200.00 without residence and $266.65 with residence.

You do not have to be attending Saint Mary's to participate in the workshop.
Saint Mary's University will be holding their annual Grade 11 Summer Event July 14th and 15th. This two day event is designed for grade 11 students who live in rural Nova Scotia or out of province to give them an opportunity to visit the campus when they might not otherwise be able to.
Students will receive a guided tour of the campus and of downtown Halifax, as well as sessions on programs, admissions, student life and residence. The university provides all food and accommodations in the Loyola residence for this event.

Mount Allison University will once again be hositng a week-long Summer Academy of Music, this year from July 22-28, 2018 for pianists, singers, string, woodwind, brass, and percussion instrumentalists ages 14 to 19.
