April is Trades Month at NBCC

April is Trades Month at NBCC! During the month of April, we'd like to invite your students  to come speak with an instructor and have all their questions answered about taking a Trades program at NBCC. They can either speak with someone in-person on campus, or chat virtually.

Trades are booming right now in New Brunswick and it’s projected in the next 3 years, there will be over 3,500 new trade jobs!

Just for attending (either live or virtually), students will be entered to win a Makita 18V Lithium-Ion Cordless 6-Piece Combo Kit valued at $700. (Contest open to Canadian residents only)

For more information on how to students can book their visit, please visit: https://nbcc.ca/visit-us/trades-info-sessions

There’s never been a better time to get in on the Trades Boom!

Looking forward to seeing your students soon,

Engineering Symposium

Faculty of Engineering

You’re invited!

UNB’s 7th Annual Engineering Design Symposium is taking place virtually this year.

Thursday, April 8th, 2021
8:30 am – 5:00 pm (drop in for sessions anytime during the day)
Free online venue – register here

The Symposium will showcase the design work of approximately 300 final-year engineering students in our product design course and in our disciplinary capstone design courses.  Many of the projects are sponsored by local governments, companies and non-profit organizations and span the disciplines of Chemical, Civil, Electrical & Computer, Geological, Geomatics, Mechanical and Software Engineering.  Students will be presenting their work in parallel sessions throughout the day and videos of the prototypes will be on display.

This will be an excellent opportunity for alumni and future employers to see the engineering design capability of our senior students and the potential that has been realized through four years of study at UNB. We hope to see you there and reconnect.
