Attention Grade 11 and 12 Students!  Early February News

grade 12 - Mount Saint Vincent University is here next Monday, February 9th at noon hour to meet with students interested in programs and learning more about their school. They will also be having on-the-spot admissions, so, if you plan to apply, please bring an official copy of your transcript.  You must request an official transcript at the office in advance. 

 
Grade 12- There are volunteer opportunities with the Red Cross that might interest you.  Volunteering is a great way to contribute to your community, learn new skills, meet new people, and help out.  If you are interested in hearing more, there will be an information meeting next Tuesday, February 10th. If you want to attend the information meeting, please sign up in the guidance office in advance.
 
Grades 11 and 12 - Also happening next Tuesday evening at 6:00 pm in the Woodstock High School Theatre is a student/parent information session titled “Transition to UNB Fredericton”.  This is open to any CNHS students in grades 11 or 12.  Find out about programs, time and budget management, campus life, financial aid and scholarships, next steps, and what university will be like.
 
Grades 11 and 12 – St. Mary’s University will be here next Wednesday, Feb. 11th, at noon hour to meet with any grade 11 or 12 students interested in hearing more about what programs, admission requirements, residences, campus life, scholarships, and so on. 
 
Grade 12 - Students should send an updated transcript to the colleges and universities that you plan to attend. Many post-secondary schools expect students to do this. Please make this request at the office using the transcript request form.
 
Grade 12 - Many universities expect students to apply for scholarships offered at the university by March 1st of  each year.  Please double check the scholarship deadline with the schools that you plan to attend.
