As part of our unit on Air & Water, we did some experiments with snow.

We asked two questions, made predictions, and then performed the experiment to find the answer.

1) What happens when snow melts? It will turn to slush, then water, then evaporate.

​When the snow melts, will there be more, less, or the same amount of water as there was snow?

2) Will snow float? Does it matter if it is loose or packy?

We had lots of fun learning about snow/water, and a bit about the scientific process.
