Winter Week Food Drive and Theme Week

During the week of February 26-March 1, our school will be hosting a food drive for the Fredericton Food Bank.  Our goal is to raise as much food as we can, so this will be a week-long, friendly competition, with prizes to be won in Grades K-1, 2,3, 4, 5, and an overall top class of the school.  Each day, your child is encouraged to bring in a non-perishable food item to donate to the food bank.  Items they are currently in need of are as follows:  juice boxes, apples, fruit cups, pudding cups, peanut butter free snacks, pasta sauce, dry pasta, cereal, canned soup, canned tomatoes.  Each day, classroom teachers will tally the number of items brought in and after recess, the leading classes will be announced!  In conjunction with the food drive, we will also be hosting theme days.  Monday, Feb. 26 will be Crazy Hair Day, Tuesday, Feb. 27 will be School Colours day (Royal Blue and Yellow), Wed. Feb. 28 is PJ day, Thurs, March 1 is Team Jersey Day and Fri. March 2 is Touque Day.  Thank you so much for your participation!!
