Here’s what’s up in 1A this week…

Wednesday:  Wear purple in support of the Purple Pinkies for Polio campaign.  Thank you for your contributions of a toonie to help eradicate polio! 

Wednesday:  Take me outside to learn day – please make sure your child is dressed warmly as we will be going outside for the first hour of the morning, merci!

Thursday:  Picture retakes for those who requested them.

Friday:  we made it! Lol

Math:  we are beginning to finish up our unit on patterns – creating, expanding, naming and exploring all sorts of patterns. Students are doing really well with this!!  Keep reviewing numbers to 20 – forwards and backwards!

Français – we have finished our last color list for now. Students will be tested on ALL lists next Thursday and Friday. So, please review each list at least once each night J

Halloween party – we will have a small celebration in our classroom next Wednesday from 11-12pm.  Students are allowed to wear costumes with a few exceptions:  no masks, no make-up and try to keep it simple.  I have sent out a letter asking certain parents to send snacks.  Thank you in advance!
