Here is what’s up this week in 1A:

Safe Schools Week!

Tuesday – fire drill

Wednesday – Bus evacuation drill and Bonne Fête Sawyer!!

Friday – School evacuation to NMS

          Last day to send in $2 for Purple Pinkies for Polio

          Last day to send in any Scholastic book orders

Sunday – Bonne Fête Theo!!

Math – we continue working on numbers to 20 and counting in a variety of ways (x1, x2, x5, x10 and backwards). We have also started a unit on patterns. We have been having a great time creating, naming and continuing patterns in class and around the school.

Literacy – continue with the colored lists. We have reached “liste violette” and once complete, we will be having a big summative assessment on ALL the colored lists. We can then move on to new lists J  October is “Mois de la Famille” so please make sure I get your digital family photo – I am starting that project next Monday!  We continue to learn new sentence structures, new vocabulary, new sounds…the list goes on!  I am super proud of everything the students can do at this point!  Wow, keep up the great work!

I will be sending home 2 formative assessment sheets - please keep these at home - I have a copy at school.
