Hello families,
​Here are the weekly updates and reminders for this week:
·      Reading in French each night, practice structures and numbers.
·      Dreambox – a great way to support math skill development at home
·      This week our school is collecting items for the Food Bank. Grade 3's are being asked to bring canned 
          vegetables and fruit, but any non-perishable donations will be gladly accepted :)
·      Tuesday will be our final library day before the break. Please remember to return any/all library books.
·      Students will be writing their Post-Test for the addition/subtraction unit this week.
·      In Literacy we are learning all about winter activities and holiday vocabulary. Structures to practice this week are:
o   Qu’est-ce que tu aimes faire dans la neige? J’aime lancer des boules de neige avec mon frère.
o   Qu’est-ce que tu aimes faire pendant l’hiver?  J’aime faire une bonhomme de neige avec ma famille pendant l’hiver.
o   Que vois-tu pendant l’hiver? Je vois ______ pendant l’hiver.
·      The Kids Shopping Blitz tickets were sent home Friday. Please fill out with your name/contact info and return to school this week. 
·      Next Tuesday, December 19th we will be having our Pizza party that we won due to our fundraising this Fall.
Upcoming dates:
Monday December 18th: Dress Rehersal
Tuesday, December 19th: K-2 shows at 9 am and 12 pm and our Pizza Party!
Wednesday, December 20th: Festive Dress Day!
Thursday, December 21st: 3-5 shows at 9 am and 12 pm
Friday, December 22: Last Day - 11 am dismissal
