Wed. Nov. 29th--Guidance presentation--A.R.C.C.--Awareness, Resiliency, Community and Compassion

Thurs. Nov. 30th--Chinese School performance

Fri, Dec. 1st--It's December! ​ 

Important dates in December--

·      Tickets for our Christmas baskets are still on sale and the giving tree still has some items on it. If you would like to help
support our families please take a ticket off of the tree. :)
·      November 30th: Chinese Classroom Grand Opening 10:30
·      Dec. 12 (A-L) Christmas Turkey diner
·      Dec. 14 (M-Z) Christmas Turkey diner
·      Dec. 19th : K-2 Christmas concert 9 am /12 pm
·      Dec. 21st: 3-5 Christmas concert 9 am / 12 pm
Literacy---We are continuing to learn new vocabulary words en français. Themes consist of--Family, Pets/Animals, Winter words, Friends and feelings. Word wall words are being introduced and added on a weekly basis. New words will be highlighted in the word duotang--Mes mots. :) This week we are working on new sounds--Mm--Martin Mouton and Ll--Lise Lapine--Both songs have been added to the web links section on my teacher page. Enjoy!
Math--We are continuing to work with numbers 0-50. We have also been learning about shapes.  
It was a pleasure meeting with all of you during parent/teacher conferences. Thank you for your continued support. We are having a fantastic year in Grade 1 French Immersion! :)
