I hope everyone had a great week end!
Here's what's up in 1A this week:

Monday: I will be continuing with summative assessments in math and literacy. One has already been sent home for math so be expecting one soon for literacy (oral language production and comprehension, and letters/sounds).
Tuesday: Halloween!  Celebration from 10:30-12:00. Keep costumes simple please :) If you are a parent who was asked to send something in, thank you so very much! Also, don't forget about the PSS Pumpkin walk. Have pumpkins to the school by 8:30am with a battery powered light or glowstick inside. Don't forget your name on the pumpkin.  Pick up after school.
Wednesday: Mrs. D (our guidance counselor) is back for a classroom visit to share mindfulness techniques :)  School clothing order deadline.
Thursday: Coats for Kids night at Sleep Country 5:30-6:00pm.  Please let me know if you haven't already if your child will be joining us. Also, feel free to send in any coats that you are willing to donate for this worthy cause!  Wear your PJs!!
Friday:  What's not to love?? It's Friday!
Dreambox and RazKids:  Continue visiting these sites. They help reinforce good strategies in math and literacy!
We SCARE Hunger:  Please send in any non-perishable food items for our food box.
