Home practice – Students can continue to practice the alphabet, numbers 1-70, days of the week and months of the year. At this point numbers 1-20 should become more automatic. If your child is still struggling, developing flash cards to help them practice can help. I am hoping to post a new PowerPoint with more recent structures tomorrow, I will update when the file is on my Teacher Page.  

Math – Information for student Dreambox accounts will be sent out soon.

Events and PSS information:

- DFS Fundraiser money and forms are due back Friday, September 29. Thank you to everyone who has participated!

- Thursday will be PSS annual Terry Fox run. Please make sure your child is dressed comfortably for a walk/run!

- Friday is Orange Shirt Day: “The annual Orange Shirt Day on September 30th opens the door to global conversation on all aspects of Residential Schools. It is an opportunity to create meaningful discussion about the effects of Residential Schools and the legacy they have left behind.” We encourage students to wear an orange shirt (if they have one).

- Picture Day is Monday October 2^nd

- The cafeteria will be selling turkey dinner on October 5^th. The cost is $6.​
