Monday 25th:  Junior choir starts for those who signed-up
Tuesday26th:  Chinese dance performance at 9:30am
  Early dismissal for students - 11AM
Wednesday 27th: popcorn day
Friday 29th: submit any fundraising money please
 Orange Shirt Day in support of "Every Child Counts" campaign for Residential schools. Wear orange!

Math: We have begun a new unit on patterns. We are building, naming and continuing patterns all week. Take a moment to search for patterns at your house with your child!  We continue working on numbers from 0-20. There are several videos and songs under Web links that your child can listen to at home for extra practice.

Literacy: We continue to work on oral communication. We are also learning names of colors, objects in the classroom, letters of the alphabet, numbers, days of the week, months of the year, high-frequency words and the list goes on!  Keep checking my web links for new songs and videos to practice French language.
 
AT HOME-- Please have your child visit the teacher page to listen to the songs and videos that have been added under Web links. Your child will also be bringing home the same book all week--Qu'est-ce qu'il y a dans la salle de classe? Please have your child read this book every night. We have read it in class and we are learning the names of the different objects in our classroom.
