What's Up in 1A this week

Bonjour les familles,
Here's what's up in 1A this week...

Monday:  Junior choir starts for those who signed-up
Tuesday:  Send in popcorn money for snack on Wednesday ($1)
Tuesday:  Chinese performance for school at 9:30am
Tuesday:  Early dismissal for students - 11AM
Wednesday: popcorn day
Friday: submit any fundraising money please
Friday:  Orange Shirt Day in support of "Every Child Counts" campaign for Residential schools. Wear orange!

Math: We have begun a new unit on patterns. We are building, naming and continuing patterns all week. Take a moment to search for patterns at your house with your child!  We continue working on numbers from 0-20, please review these nightly with your child.

Literacy: We have covered a lot of materials in the past 2 weeks!  We can answer 6 personal questions, name colors, objects in the classroom, letters of the alphabet, numbers, the list goes on!  Keep checking my web links for new songs.
