School Wide LiD

​Hello families,

For the next 4 weeks, students will have the opportunity to explore their LiD (learning in depth) topics with our yearly school-wide LiD focus. We will be meeting with our LiD groups for 4 different sessions.  We had our first session on Tuesday and shared what we already know about our topics and what we want to learn.  We also discussed plans for our final project.
 
This year, the theme is Canada 150 so we will be exploring how our LiD topics relate to Canada and how they have played a role in its development over time.
 
My LiD Group will be exploring the topic of dinosaurs.   For next week: find information on  Canadians who have made important discoveries related to dinosaurs. 
 
Please check the teacher page of your child's LiD group leader for their question for next week.
