Research project on an Indigenous nation

In Sciences humaines, the students are in their second week of a research project on a given Indigenous nation.  The students are wrapping up their research and choosing how they will share it with the rest of the class (for example with a PowerPoint, model, piece of art, etc.).  They have been assigned a group with which they are researching and sharing about the same nation, and the autonomy, as a group to decide how much they would like to work together and/or divide the work.  Most of the mark is individual and it is based on: research skills, understanding of the nation researched, geographical thinking (on identifying the traditional territory), communication and collaboration in the group, and an interesting and creative final product. This is an in-class project, however, I hope you can engage the students in talking about what they're learning about our diverse indigenous peoples and foster an appreciation for their cultures.

A detailed document of the project can be found in the class's Office 365 Teams page.
