Alfred Brewer – Nighthawk of the Month for Citizenship and Positive Attitude
 
This award is presented in recognition of your citizenship and positive attitude at Nackawic High School. You are certainly one of the friendliest students at NHS.  You are an extremely pleasant student who brings joy to those around you. You are polite and kind to all. You enter the school every day with a smile and usually a song. Your sunny attitude has a positive impact on those around you and you never fail to make everyone’s day a little brighter. You love life and you are helpful in any way you can be. You are a role model to all students. Congratulations on being selected Nighthawk of the Month for May, 2018.
Jackelyn McQuarrie – Nighthawk of the Month for Dedication
 
This award is presented in recognition of your dedication at Nackawic High School. You maintain a high academic average despite participating in many varsity sports this year. It is not easy to juggle the busy schedule of athletics and get your school work done at a high level; however, you manage to succeed in this respect. In addition, you are always pleasant and kind to others and get along well with your classmates. You are a role model to all students. Congratulations on being selected Nighthawk of the Month for May, 2018.
Megan Jones- Nighthawk of the Month for Initiative and Work Ethic
 
This award is presented in recognition of your initiative and work ethic at Nackawic High School. You have been a hard working student throughout the year. You have a positive attitude and strong work ethic. You have shown initiative throughout your classes by speaking up with ideas and lending a hand without being asked. You always have assignments completed and take time to complete them with care. You are outspoken when needed for ideas in a group setting. You had a huge impact on the documentary created for What’s up Doc, including leading discussions, creating story boards, filming and editing. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed and you are a pleasure to have in class. You are a role model to all students. Congratulations on being selected Nighthawk of the Month for May, 2018.
Tyson Williams – Nighthawk of the Month for Work Ethic
 
This award is presented in recognition of your work ethic at Nackawic High School. You have taken initiative in classes by often being one of the first to step up and lend a hand. You often do extra jobs when others are busy or when you just see things need to be done. You contribute to class when asking questions and adding insight to discussions that are taking place. You are quick to get on task and you finish your work in a timely manner. You are a great addition to the classroom as you add a positive attitude and humour while getting the job done. You have also taken part in Best Buddies this year for different events, as well being one of the co-captains for the Rugby team. You are a role model to all students. Congratulations on being selected Nighthawk of the Month for May, 2018.
Maya Clearwater - Nighthawk of the Month for Academic Achievement
 
This award is presented in recognition of your academic achievement at Nackawic High School. You are very intelligent. You care greatly about your academics and maintain very high grades. The quality of your work is exceptional.  You are an involved student at NHS, playing with a Cover Band, and being a strong player on the Reach for the Top team. You are also heading on the China Cultural Exchange this summer. In addition, you also volunteer as the student representative on the Nackawic Public/School Library Board. You are a role model to all students. Congratulations on being selected Nighthawk of the Month for May, 2018.
