Career Exploration for Indigenious Youth

​The purpose of Career Exploration for Indigenous Youth events is to provide Indigenous NB high school students with information on diverse career opportunities they may not have been aware of.  The focus is on:

  • creating awareness about career opporutnities,
  • access to essential learning resources,
  • financial supports,
  • apprenticeships,
  • establishing connections with employers and workers and mentors in these fields
Through introducing these students to Indigenous New Brunswickers working in these occupations and listening to their stories gives youth an opportunity to explore a variety of interesting career paths.
