​     Picture retakes are scheduled for Thursday, October 27th.  If you are interested in retakes for your child, please let me know.

     We begin everyday with writing.  It is very helpful when the children come to school with an idea of a small event that they could stretch out into a story.  (scoring a goal, finding some colourful leaves, visiting relatives, losing a tooth, etc.) 

     In math, we are continuing to practice counting to twenty by ones and twos and backwards by ones from 20 to one.  The children also need to know how to identify and write the numerals to 20.  We are also working with the important concept of equal and unequal.

     During art class, we painted beautiful pumpkins and placed them in a stary night setting.
