To the Families of John Caldwell School,
As of midnight tonight, April 15, 2021, the Grand Falls Region of
Health Zone 4 will move to the Orange Alert level. Specific to ASD-W, this
change will impact John Caldwell School only.
The Orange Alert level means staff and students will still be
required to follow specific safety measures, particularly around mask-wearing,
however in the Orange level, masks are not required while students are engaged
in sports activities during physical education class.
As in the Red Alert level, extra-curricular music activities, such
as choir and band are not permitted, however sports activities are now limited
to practices within a single team. Please review the full details of the Orange
